More than a hundred citizens with mobility limitations will benefit from better travel conditions in the country's health units, thanks to the donation of 110 wheelchairs.

Wheelchairs will be distributed to central, general, and provincial hospitals with the aim of strengthening the capacity to assist users, ensuring greater comfort, dignity, and safety during their stay and movement within healthcare facilities.
This initiative is part of BCI's social responsibility policy, which donated the wheelchairs to the Ministry of Health at a time when the national health system is seeking to improve patient care conditions, especially for those facing mobility difficulties.
According to the Minister of Health, Ussene Isse, the donation represents an important boost to the functioning of healthcare units, allowing more users to access adequate means of mobility.
The minister also highlighted the need to preserve the equipment provided, appealing to healthcare professionals and hospital managers to ensure its correct use and maintenance, so as to guarantee that it benefits the greatest possible number of patients.
