Diligence is the name of an initiative that seeks to create opportunities for schools to access technological resources capable of enhancing the quality of education and preparing students for the challenges of the digital age.

Recently, the coordinators of the initiative, in partnership with the Pedagogical University (UP) of Maputo, donated computer equipment to Primary School Unit 30, the result of a memorandum of understanding between UP-Maputo and that primary education institution, contributing to the creation of a modern, inclusive environment suited to the current demands of education.

The equipment consists of two computers, a printer, and a Starlink antenna with a one-year paid subscription. According to the coordinator of the Diligence Project, Sarita Herinksen, it will contribute to improving the teaching and learning process, providing better access to information and communication technologies for teachers and students.

It also contributes, as pointed out by Jorge Ferrão, rector of UP-Maputo, to the development of education and the promotion of digital literacy in schools.
