“Uma Pele Secreta” (A Secret Skin) is the title of a book by Mozambican writer Suzana Machamale, scheduled for release on Thursday, April 30th, at 5:30 PM, at the Camões – Portuguese Cultural Center in Maputo.

The book, to be presented by Antónia Rosa and published by Kulera, is an intense and engaging narrative that explores family ties, love, and the consequences of significant choices.
It follows Hadrian and Ludwig, two brothers deeply united but with distinct personalities. After a traumatic event that shakes Hadrian’s life, Ludwig struggles to help him regain his balance, without success.
The course of the story changes when Hadrian reunites with Núbia, his first and great love. However, this reunion proves unsettling: Núbia is no longer the same. Driven by the need to feel alive again, Hadrian decides to reconnect, ignoring warning signs that ultimately trigger irreversible consequences for everyone involved.
Suzana Machamale was born on August 24, 1991, in the city of Beira. She has a degree in Sociology, but found her main means of expression in writing. He made his literary debut with the work “The Roots of the King,” the first volume of the tetralogy “Bloody Princes.”
