The GSA is an intensive 30-day immersion program where participants live with people from different parts of the world and learn to work directly in vulnerable communities, especially in favelas and working-class neighborhoods. During the program, they identify local challenges and co-create solutions that strengthen collective dreams and promote real transformations.

In addition to representing Mozambique among more than a thousand national and international candidates, this edition brought a historic milestone: Filipa Charomar, at 54 years old, became the oldest Mozambican female participant in the program, demonstrating that the pursuit of knowledge and the will to transform have no age limit.

For the country, the participation of these leaders is a unique opportunity to empower community leaders (CLEs) and open doors for development in strategic areas, especially in the fastest-growing and most vulnerable areas. The experience allows for building bridges between global knowledge and local challenges, strengthening community projects, promoting social innovation, and inspiring concrete changes in communities that need it most.

Furthermore, the presence of Mozambicans in the program increases Mozambique's visibility in international social innovation networks, generating opportunities for partnerships, exchange of experiences, and access to resources that can accelerate the sustainable development of local communities.
