The 11th edition of the International Contemporary Dance Platform - KINANI 2025 - will take place from November 24th to 30th in Maputo City.
The audience will witness unforgettable experiences. Using the body, time, space, gravity, and energy, KINANI's pieces seek to communicate different ideas and feelings in a creative and expressive way.
The production will bring to the country various professionals (choreographers, directors of international festivals and theaters) linked to arts and culture, particularly artists from various countries, especially African artists, who will perform in various venues in Maputo and share experiences in workshops and debates about contemporary art markets.
In this edition, choreographers and artists from countries such as Angola, Madagascar, South Africa, Portugal, France, Spain, Norway, Switzerland, Brazil, and Canada will perform in spaces like Casa Velha, the 4th floor, the Franco-Mozambique Cultural Center, the Avenida Theatre, the Ronil Chapel (Cemetery), and the Mozambique Post Office.
