A glimpse into the life of Carlota Joaquina, the Spanish infanta who met the Prince of Portugal at just ten years old and was disappointed with her future husband. She always showed a willingness to pursue lovers and power, and felt tremendously upset when the Portuguese court came to Brazil, but felt a great sense of relief when they left.
