Photo: MAC Criatives Lines<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n\r\n<p>Deodato Siquir is a musician whose compositions evoke elements such as memory, love, and peace, without neglecting the Mozambican identity he promotes on various stages around the world.<\/p>\r\n<p>Establishing himself as an important voice of the Mozambican diaspora, based in Scandinavia, Siquir has left his mark, also navigating through his childhood, which was similar to that of most children in Maputo.<\/p>\r\n<p>His passion for music began early, after all, he lives exploring a talent that emerged in his family environment and in the musical tradition ingrained in Maputo's urban culture.<\/p>\r\n<p>He grew up as an artist traveling a long road whose destination is freedom. Today, Siquir presents himself as an excellent multi-instrumentalist, a talent who divides his time between Mozambique, his motherland, and Scandinavia.<\/p>\r\n<p>He presents a versatile repertoire composed of productions such as \"Balan\u00e7o,\" \"Mutema,\" and \"Together.\" His sound navigates between Mozambican folklore, jazz, and Latin rhythms.
