Photo: Press release<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n\r\n<p>The Mozambican Writers' Association (AEMO) is organizing a poetry and prose anthology to celebrate the author. This project is aimed at Mozambican women who are inspired by the writings of this figure, one of the greatest in Mozambican poetry and beyond.<\/p>\r\n<p>It is a gesture of reverence for No\u00e9mia de Sousa's courage and contribution to the struggle for national independence and the emancipation of Mozambicans. No\u00e9mia championed Black pride, the valorization of African roots, and the liberation of Mozambicans.
