On Thursday evening, the studio auditorium of Radio Mo\u00e7ambique (RM) in Maputo will host singer Yadah Angel to grace the stage of the fifth edition of the Mbenga Live Session.<\/p>\r\n

The concert, entitled \"On the Way to the Album\" will be broadcast live on Radio Cidade and offers the public an intimate experience with an emerging voice in contemporary Mozambican music, at a particularly symbolic moment in her artistic journey.<\/p>\r\n

The \"On the Way to the Album\" concert emerges as a moment of sharing and anticipation of her first studio album, currently in development. The presentation proposes an interpretation of her trajectory so far, bringing together themes already known to the public and hints of the creative universe that should mark this new phase of her career.<\/p>\r\n

\r\n

\"It's a moment to share the path I've been building and a preview of the album, where I combine R&B, pop and other influences that are part of my identity,\" said the artist.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

Her professional debut came with the release of the single \"I'll Be Fine,\" a song that marked the beginning of her affirmation as an artist and opened the way for new collaboration opportunities.<\/p>\r\n

Later, she joined CSV and participated in the song \"Chega,\" in collaboration with a renowned national artist, reinforcing her presence in the Mozambican music scene and expanding her experience in collective creation contexts.<\/p>\r\n

With a versatile sound identity, the artist blends R&B, hip-hop, kizomba, pop, and local influences. In a continuously evolving career, Yadah Angel has released the EPs \"Limbo\" and \"Atitude,\" projects that highlight her artistic evolution and ability to explore different emotions, narratives, and musical languages.<\/p>\r\n

The artistic direction of the Mbenga Platform highlights: \u201cThis concert reinforces our commitment to valuing emerging artists, as well as creating spaces for listening, visibility, and circulation for new voices in Mozambican music,\u201d said H\u00e9lio Nguane.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

The Mbenga Live Session is a cultural project of the Mbenga Arts and Reflections Platform, in partnership with R\u00e1dio Cidade, which aims to promote musical experiences and broaden the reach of contemporary Mozambican music, bringing artists and audiences closer together in live sessions with a strong artistic and community dimension.<\/p>\r\n

Previous editions featured artists such as Shelsia Mac, Nephew 258, Ivan Manyike, and The Rosee, consolidating the project as a platform for valuing national and contemporary musical diversity.<\/p>\r\n
