The Kym Rapier Foundation will launch, in the coming months, a comprehensive support project for the Mafuiane Peasant School in the Namaacha district, which includes the construction of a bakery, poultry farming facilities, acquisition of new land, and purchase of tractors.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The announcement was recently made by the foundation\u2019s patron, Kym Rapier, at the end of a visit to the school\u2019s facilities during a political camp gathering 100 peasant women.<\/p>\r\n

\r\n

\u201cThis is my first time in Mozambique, but this is one of the best countries I have ever visited in the world,\u201d she said, explaining that the goal is to strengthen the local production chain:<\/p>\r\n

\u201cWe want to build a bakery, create spaces for poultry farming, acquire new land to expand the fields, and buy tractors and all necessary equipment,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

Kym Rapier also emphasized that the support will not be limited to the school, implying that the foundation intends to reach more associations and rural initiatives at the national level.<\/p>\r\n

\r\n

\u201cThis will definitely happen in the near future. Afterwards, we will expand every year across the country,\u201d she stated, indicating that the approach will be gradual but sustainable.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

The visit to Mozambique is part of a broader mission by the Kym Rapier Foundation across the African continent.<\/p>\r\n

\r\n

\u201cWe are traveling all over the world. We went to Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda. We left Zanzibar, and now we are getting to know Mozambique,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

The foundation leader emphasized that the selection of countries does not follow a fixed criterion, but rather the intention to identify and support vulnerable communities globally.<\/p>\r\n

The patron also praised the conditions she found in the country, stating that it is \u201cthe best country we have visited in Africa.\u201d She recommended Mozambique as a tourist destination, highlighting the \u201cincredible accommodations\u201d and the \u201cperfect beaches\u201d of the so-called Pearl of the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\r\n

\r\n

\u201cWhat we are trying to do is help people generate income through agriculture. Our main goal is to show those with resources that it is important to start supporting.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

The Kym Rapier Foundation describes itself as a \u201cstory-driven\u201d philanthropic organization, with a mission to empower neglected communities and promote inclusive opportunities.<\/p>\r\n
