{"id":4149,"date":"2025-12-04T10:25:31","date_gmt":"2025-12-04T10:25:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mozavibe.co.mz\/?p=4149"},"modified":"2025-12-04T10:26:39","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T10:26:39","slug":"quive-leva-antologia-lusofona-a-luanda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mozavibe.co.mz\/en_US\/2025\/culture\/quive-leva-antologia-lusofona-a-luanda\/","title":{"rendered":"Lusophone anthology arrives in Luanda"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote>\r\n<p>The prose anthology \u201cBuilding Tomorrow with Clay from Within - Voices of Post-Independence,\u201d recently launched in Mauto and organized by writers and journalists Eduardo Quive and Israel Campos, is coming to Luanda, the capital of Angola.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n\r\n<figure id=\"attachment_4151\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4151\" style=\"width: 700px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4151\" src=\"https:\/\/mozavibe.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/EQIC_CABD_003-1-700x467.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mozavibe.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/EQIC_CABD_003-1-700x467.jpg 700w, https:\/\/mozavibe.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/EQIC_CABD_003-1-2000x1333.jpg 2000w, https:\/\/mozavibe.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/EQIC_CABD_003-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mozavibe.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/EQIC_CABD_003-1-1536x1024.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4151\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Eduardo Quive<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n\r\n<p>The work, which brings together 19 narratives by authors from Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 and Pr\u00edncipe, will be presented on December 11th by writer and art critic Adriano Mixinge.<\/p>\r\n<p>The book features writers born in the post-independence period, most of whom are already references in contemporary African literature, as well as other promising authors who have been standing out for their talent.<\/p>\r\n<p>The authors included are Amadu Daf\u00e9, Ailton Moreira, Alice Pessoa, Edson Incopt\u00e9, Eileen Barbosa, Happy Taimo, Ivanick Lopanza, Janine Oliveira, Jessemusse Cacinda, Luana Cardoso Pereira, Marinho Pina, Maya \u00c2ngela Macu\u00e1cua, M\u00e9lio Tinga, Oliver Quiteculo, Pedro Sequeira de Carvalho, Rosa Soares, and S\u00e9rgio Fernandes, as well as stories by the organizers, Eduardo Quive and Israel Campos.<\/p>\r\n<p>It also features a preface by the renowned Mozambican writer Paulina Chiziane and Inoc\u00eancia Mata, Professor of Literature and Cultural Studies at the University of Lisbon.<\/p>\r\n<p>To coincide with this launch, Eduardo Quive will participate in various literary events in Luanda, along with Israel Campos and other Angolan authors included in the anthology, namely Rosa Soares, Oliver Quiteculo, and S\u00e9rgio Fernandes.<\/p>\r\n<p>In this sense, on the 5th, at the Kiela Bookstore, the writer will discuss \u201cLiterary Bridges in the PALOP: challenges and opportunities\u201d, in a conversation moderated by Ngoi Salucombo, cultural programmer at the Goethe-Institut Angola.
