A project is revolutionizing the agricultural sector in Mozambique by introducing digital technologies into agricultural education and practice.<\/p>\r\n

It is called \u201cEscola na Machamba do Campon\u00eas\u201d and will initially provide mobile devices with applications to three thousand farmers in the provinces of Zamb\u00e9zia, Nampula and Manica. The aim is to provide access to technical information, climate monitoring, market prices and agricultural support services in real time.<\/p>\r\n

Currently in its pilot phase, the project will be implemented in 13 districts and will cover 100 agricultural schools, promoting the digital inclusion of small producers.<\/p>\r\n

Through digitalization, the aim is to modernize the production chain, improve decision-making in the field and increase agricultural productivity. The initiative includes features such as diagnosing plant problems, sending product images to customers and remote access to technical advice.<\/p>\r\n

The proposal is considered to be a true transformation in the way farmers relate to the land and the market, also promoting digital literacy and financial inclusion. Farmers will have greater autonomy to manage their production and a more effective connection with agricultural technicians and buyers, reducing travel and losses.<\/p>\r\n
