The exhibition reveals a unique symbiosis between vibrant colours and the cultural expressions of the Makonde people, providing an immersion into the techniques and artistic vision of both artists.<\/p>\r\n<p>Reinata Sadimba is a Mozambican ceramist born in Mueda, with traditional training from the Makonde ethnic group. She learned the art from her mother, initially to support the family after losing her father. Her pieces, inspired by Makonde drawings and spirits, address themes such as femininity, motherhood and childbirth.<\/p>\r\n<p>Renowned for her speed of production, Reinata has gained international visibility, with exhibitions in countries such as Italy and Portugal. Her work is represented in important art institutions, such as the National Museum of Art in Maputo, the National Museum of Ethnology (Lisbon) and the Culturgest Modern Art Collection.<\/p>\r\n<p>Sebasti\u00e3o Coana was born in the district of Manhi\u00e7a, Maputo province, in 1987. He was recently awarded an award in Paris, France, by the Divine Academy of Arts for his social contribution through the arts.<\/p>\r\n<p>He was also named one of the 100 most influential people in the Portuguese-speaking world by the Bantumen magazine in Portugal. He has several exhibitions and artistic murals in more than 20 countries.
