Mozambican Cec\u00edlia Tivir is one of the innovative minds transforming the artificial intelligence landscape.<\/p>\r\n

A PhD candidate in Senegal and a visiting researcher at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in the United States, Cec\u00edlia has consolidated her career as a reference in the technology sector.<\/p>\r\n

In addition to her international academic career, Tivir is a co-founder of the Mozambican Association of Women in Technology (Wansati Lab), a non-profit organization dedicated to career mentoring and the development of technological skills, with a special focus on women, but open to anyone who wants to strengthen their role in technology.<\/p>\r\n

Wansati Lab has stood out as a hub for technological training and inclusion, promoting diversity and equal opportunities in the digital sector. With experience in countries such as Brazil, the United States and Senegal, Cec\u00edlia Tivir believes that her work can drive technological innovations in Mozambique, creating new opportunities and generating a positive impact on society.<\/p>\r\n

Despite her global activities, she maintains a strong connection with her home country. For Tivir, geographical distance does not limit her ability to contribute to Mozambique\u2019s technological development.<\/p>\r\n

\u201cI feel like I can do more, even though I\u2019m outside the country. I believe that, with my work, I can contribute to a more innovative, more inclusive and more connected Mozambique to the digital world\u201d, she states.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

Cec\u00edlia reflects on the challenges that young people face in their personal and professional growth, highlighting the importance of reading and perception for development.<\/p>\r\n

\r\n

\u201cOpportunities are there, every day, but time ends up being the biggest enemy. We want quick results, but building a solid future requires patience and persistence\u201d, she emphasizes.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

For Tivir, although the digital world offers countless possibilities, it is essential to know how to use the internet strategically.<\/p>\r\n

\r\n

\u201cThe internet should be a resource for learning and developing skills, and not just a distraction\u201d, she warns. Cec\u00edlia Tivir\u2019s trajectory is an inspiring example of how education, perseverance and collaboration can transform realities. It not only builds bridges between technology and Mozambique, but also paves the way for future generations of young Mozambicans to enter the digital world in innovative ways.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n
