Severino Ngoenha lauches "Filosofemas – Moçambique Vol. I"

On March 27th, at 5:00 pm, the José Luís Cabaço Amphitheater at the Technical University of Mozambique (UDM) will host the presentation of the book "Filosofemas – Moçambique Vol. I", by Mozambican philosopher Severino Ngoenha and published by Fundza.

The session will feature a presentation by Samuel Ngale and the special presence of co-authors Eva Trindade, Tony Vieira and Giverange do Amaral.

The author of the preface to the work, Filomeno Lopes, says that it “is the result of a dialogical journey by the author over the years, to help respond, accompany, but above all empower Mozambican citizens themselves in the search for better answers to the social problems that currently afflict Mozambique and Africa in general, in the global geopolitical and geostrategic context.â€

Severino Elias Ngoenha was born in Maputo in 1962. He holds a degree in Theology and a PhD in Philosophy from the Gregorian University in Rome. In 2010, he joined the Department of Philosophy at the Pedagogical University of Mozambique. He was an associate professor in the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. His research focuses on Anthropology, African Thought, Philosophy of Education and Interculturality.
