Mozambican saxophonist Ivan Mazuze, based in Norway, returns to Mozambique for an unmissable concert in Maputo this Friday, November 7th, at 8 PM, at the Franco-Mozambican Cultural Center (CCFM).
The musician will present his latest album, “Penuka,” a fusion of contemporary jazz with African, Arabic, and Indian rhythms.
On stage, Mazuze will be accompanied by a band of national and international artists: Olga Konkova (piano), Mike Armoogum (bass), Steinar Aadnekvam (guitar), Stéio Mondlane (drums), and Tony Paco (percussion).
To make the evening even more special, the show will feature Dua Maciel as a special guest.
