Guinjata Beach, or simply Guinjata Bay, is one of the most beautiful in Inhambane. It is located in the Jangamo district and is 23 kilometers from the provincial capital and approximately 530 kilometers north of Maputo.

Guinjata is a hidden gem in a little-known district, but it offers an incredible blend of natural beauty and cultural experiences for tourists seeking a more peaceful retreat.

In addition to its sparkling waters, the beach also offers several accommodation options for vacationers or even newlyweds. It's a good choice for a honeymoon, as it can accommodate anyone, depending on their wishes.

Guinjata is equally renowned for its gastronomy. It offers local dishes such as matapa with crab, fish in coconut and/or tapioca, octopus, lobster, among others, as well as traditional dishes.

The language spoken there is Guitonga, one of the typical languages of Inhambane. Fishing and agriculture are the primary activities of this developing area, which, thanks to tourism, is gaining considerable prominence.
