The Brazilian ambassador in Mozambique, Ademar Seabra da Cruz Júnior, during the II Mostra Iberoamericana, organised at the Guimarães Rosa Institute, in Maputo, by the embassies of Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Cuba and Venezuela, highlighted the cultural and diplomatic importance of the event.
He said that it promotes the cinematographic diversity of Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. He also emphasised the importance of strengthening ties between these countries
through art and cultural exchange.
The diplomat emphasised the appreciation of the spanish and portuguese languages on screen, providing viewers with an enriching and educational experience about the different realities and narratives of the participating nations.
The representatives of the other embassies expressed similar views.
