The book “The Adventures of Detective Malaica Muniga”, the second by journalist Omardine Omar, will be launched in Maputo, at the Portuguese Cultural Centre, from 5:30 pm on 19 June.
With 108 pages full of mystery, the work unfolds into 10 crime stories that stray from the conventional, immersing the reader in a universe where the unpredictable is the only certainty. The saga of Malaica Muniga, unravelling enigmas throughout the Mozambican territory, promises to be breathtaking. The big question, which the author himself suggests in the last story, echoes in the air: will Maputo have a new Sherlock Holmes uncovering its most hidden secrets?
The book will be presented by political activist Wilker Dias. “The Adventures of Detective Malaica Muniga” is published by Gala-Gala Edições and is part of the “Swikiro” collection.
