Maputo is hosting the Arts and Crafts Fair from Thursday to Sunday, as part of the Maputo Street Art program, under the motto "Re-creating Narratives".
Through murals, installations, poetry, dance, talks, and educational activities, the festival promotes new visual narratives, reinforces female representation in urban art, and values the territory as a place of identity and social transformation.

The book Maputo Street Art is one of the first editorial records dedicated to urban art in the city of Maputo. The publication documents the journeys, works, and biographies of various urban artists, proposing an interpretation of the city through its walls, neighborhoods, and interventions in public spaces.
The fair also features a presentation by Brazilian visual artist Edvandro de Oliveira, specializing in graffiti and mural painting, who also works as a socio-cultural educator through workshops, lectures, and live painting.
