AEMO presents annual plan

The Mozambican Writers Association (AEMO) will present its annual plan of activities this Thursday, which aims to promote books, literary creation and the preservation of cultural memory.

AEMO's February Agenda

The meeting will officially launch the centenary of Noémia de Sousa (1926-2002), the "mother of Mozambican poets," and the first session of the "Listening to the Word" Conversation Cycle program.

The presentation of the program marks the beginning of a regular agenda for AEMO, structured to welcome different audiences and encourage the participation of the literary community throughout the year.

The Mozambican Writers' Association, founded on August 31, 1982, aims to defend the interests of national writers and promote Mozambican literature.
