Ayrton Mugabe is known at the Catholic University of Mozambique (UCM), in the city of Beira, Sofala province, for the university discipleship he has been building as a medical student at the Faculty of Health Sciences.

For almost four years, Ayrton has been involved in university discipleship, where he has been able to socialise with other young people and get involved in their lives, keeping abreast of the crises, ambitions and challenges of youth. In this journey, Ayrton and other Christians have been transforming lives and this is how his first book ‘Keep Quiet - The Manifesto of a New Generation’ came about.

The book was launched at the end of last year in the city of Chókwé, Gaza province, where the author spent his childhood and adolescence, close to his main references, his parents and older brother Edson Mugabe, who passed on values and principles that moulded his character.

He has other spiritual and psychological leadership references, such as Ângelo Xavier, leader of Kilisa e Habilidades, an organisation that seeks to enhance the skills and abilities of young people, Carlos Amós, leader of the A Palavra da Beira movement and Pastor Luís Maposse.

He also mentions an international reference, Pastor André Fernandes, who moved the author of the book to follow the purpose of helping people. And this can only be managed and realised by each person in his life.

In the light of his 22 years, Ayrton is simple in habit, curious, self-taught, faithful in his purpose, a son who fervently loves Christ, who sees challenges as a springboard for his development. On his journey, he shares spiritual and emotional intelligence tools for young people to fulfil their purpose. He believes that everyone is part of God's strong edification.

‘Keep Quiet’ is a provocation for people to move forward immediately in their search for self-knowledge and life purpose. The book is a call to action. It's a wake-up call for young people to put their plans and dreams into action, as he himself says: ‘no one is defined by their traumas or past’. In this book, it's important to validate dreams and authentic positions. It's important to realise which stones are in your shoes; the distractions that hold back every human being's life journey. The author invites us to improve our self-perception, because the more aware we are of what we are capable of, the more likely we are to fulfil our purpose.

You've always dreamed of studying medicine and never imagined yourself in any other field. His main reason for validating and realising this goal lies in his love for people, so that they feel loved, valued and respected. The young man is torn between specialising in internal medicine or medical emergencies.

In addition to the book, Aryton has developed the Activating Identity (AID) method, an unparalleled experience of self-knowledge and discovery of purpose, in order to break down limiting beliefs, release forgiveness and visualise inner gems to identify his purpose of contributing to transforming the world.

He is a young man with a granular mentality and a huge commitment to the health, spiritual and psychological development of young people.

If you want to attain greater wisdom and have a more productive, prosperous and balanced life, get to know yourself by reading ‘Keep Quiet’, available in the cities of Beira, Chókwé and Maputo.
