The TP50 group pays tribute to the constituents of its own group, through the concert “Agora Somos Nós”, at the Centro Cultural Franco - Moçambicano, in Maputo, on September 20th.
The show presents works by TP50 members through music, dance, theater, image and poetry and will bring together around 80 artists on stage. For 17 years, TP50 presented tributes to great artists whose work and attitude they believe is important to evoke.
It was, above all, the use of models of artistic creation and citizenship, as examples of humanist and socially exemplary works and behaviors within a framework of advocacy of socially useful moral values.
TP50 was formally created in 2007 and has since designed and performed more than 40 themed shows involving more than 300 artists from different fields including musicians, actors, dancers, poets, writers, filmmakers and photographers.
TP50's activity is characterized by the staging of themed shows, integration of various arts, involvement of artists from various generations and dissemination of human values and artistic quality through tributes to ideas and socially exemplary people.
Using national cultural elements as a basis, TP50's activity established a permanent bridge with art and artists from Portuguese-speaking countries, in particular Portugal and Brazil.
Over the course of his concerts, more than two hundred artists from Mozambique, Portugal and Brazil took part.
