"Short Scenes" promotes the art of acting

From April 26th to 28th, 2024, the Fernando Leite Couto Foundation in Maputo will host the third edition of the "Short Scenes" Theatre Festival, aimed at promoting the art of acting and providing a platform for the exposure and artistic expression of theater makers in Mozambique.

The festival kicks off with a discussion on "Creation and Production in Performing Arts - Challenges of Limitations and Resources" on April 26th at 6:00 PM at the "Foundation," featuring cultural manager Pablo Ribeiro and actor Yuck Miranda as the main speakers, moderated by actresses and producers Clotilde Guirrugo and Rita Couto.

On Saturday, April 27th, at 6:30 PM, at the Sabura Cultural Center, there will be a marathon of short, fun, and exciting scenes.

To close the festival, on April 28th, in the afternoon, the stage will open to collective participation of artists, spectators, and the general public with improvisation games and spontaneous small creations.
