“A Portrait of Children and Minors Deprived of Liberty in the Special Penitentiary Establishment for Juvenile Rehabilitation in Boane” is the title of a work that addresses relevant issues concerning the juvenile justice system in Mozambique.
Written by Tina Lorizzo and Lourenço Sigaúque, published by Gala Gala Edições, the book presents a detailed analysis of the conditions faced by children and adolescents in custody, highlighting the challenges these youths encounter in their rehabilitation and social reintegration processes.
The launch will take place on October 24 at 4:00 PM in the auditorium of the Ministry of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs.
The presentation will be conducted by Sílvia Matavel, an expert in human rights and juvenile justice.
