The US government has implemented several initiatives aimed at reducing the impacts of climate change and promoting environmental resilience in Mozambique.

Some of these initiatives were presented at a round table held recently at the US Embassy in Maputo City.

Among the projects are those led by the Millennium Challenge Corporation and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), focussed on forest protection, safeguarding the coast and creating sustainable jobs.

The contributions of the US Embassy and partner agencies, as discussed by Kenneth Miller, Larina Konold and Moffat Ngugi, reflect a solid commitment to international co-operation to tackle the challenges of climate change and strengthen sustainable development in Mozambique.
